The
12 Super Foods you should be Eating
If you’re
reading this than you already know how important good
nutrition is. I’m a big advocate of “you
are what you eat.” If you make a serious effort
to improve your eating habits, you will notice a positive
change in how you look and feel.
I recently came across a list of 12 “super foods”
in a leading health magazine. The list is as follows:
1. Almonds and other nuts
2. Beans and legumes
3. Spinach and other green vegetables
4. Low-fat dairy
5. Oatmeal
6. Eggs
7. Turkey and other lean meats
8. Natural peanut butter
9. Olive oil
10. Whole-grain breads and cereals
11. Extra protein (I use whey protein powder)
12. Raspberries and other berries
All 12 foods above have a high nutritional value and
should be incorporated into your daily snacks and meals.
I personally bring the list with me food shopping and
you might want to do the same.
